East Los Angeles Star Adult Education
The District will provide 20 adult education classrooms at the East LA Star Hospital site as replacement seats for the Eastside Learning Center. In addition, the remaining space available in the existing building will be designed for 25 classrooms for high school use that can be constructed when funds are identified. This project consists of 105,000 square feet with 20 classrooms on 4.98 acres. The total project budget is $46M. This project was designed by Corlett, Skaer & DeVoto Architects and is being constructed by Tilden-Coil. JGMC began its services on this project in February 2008 and are currently ongoing.
